DATA PROCESSING OPERATION: ‘PITCCH STAKEHOLDERS CONTACTS DATABASE’
The Pan-European Open Innovation Network for Corporate Challenges in advanced technologies (PITCCH) Project has received funding from the European Union´s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme under Grant Agreement nº 882463.
PITCCH project aims to increase the competitiveness of European industries by building a Pan-European Open Innovation (OI) network where Technology Centres (TCs) act as intermediaries to facilitate the establishment of structured collaborations between Large Enterprises (LEs) as technology seekers with Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) as technology providers and this way accelerate the market uptake of advanced technologies through different sectors.
The overall goal is to promote collaborations between LEs and SMEs through targeted actions. Technology Centres (TCs) will work closely with LEs to better understand the needs and define Corporate Challenges (CCs). 15 Corporate Challenges (CCs) will be selected and launched under three different cut-offs dates to attract and identify SMEs as potential technology providers. Three different business models for each cut-off date will be tested to understand the best approach to promote Open Innovation partnerships.
A Digital Open Innovation Platform will be developed to serve as the central brokerage service point, enabling an efficient functioning of the network. The platform will support the members of the network in scouting potential partners and in managing the requests for brokerage services. A brokerage services portfolio will be set up based on the competences of TCs and the needs of companies.
The final objective of PITCCH is to build a well-reputed network ecosystem gathering technology centers (TCs), LEs and SMEs and to achieve a long-term sustainability of the network, facilitating the establishment of OI partnerships.
