Develop an iOS and/or Android APP to use the camera of a smart device (e.g. mobile phone, tablet) to detect and recognize a set of food objects, arranged in random order, and estimate the relative quantity in number or size.
For clarity, the APP is the key focus for this challenge – not the Hardware – and the developed solution should be able to work with conventional mobile phone or tablet cameras.
